Printwaste Recycling & Shredding, based in Cheltenham was established in 1994 and has over 20 years of experience in the waste recycling and paper shredding industry. This year Printwaste was awarded Document Destruction Company of the Year in the national DM (Document Management) Magazine Awards.
Recycling many waste streams Printwaste specialises in offering a one stop shop recycling service to commercial premises from SME’s to Blue Chip organisations and the Public Sector. From three separate depots Printwaste recycles papers, plastics, cardboard, glass, metals, light tubes, printer cartridges etc as well as confidential paper shredding.
Printwaste is also a specialist in confidential shredding of any material including all office papers, CD’s, tapes, microfiche clothing and uniforms. All material is collected via one of its 15 trucks and shredded in one of its high security shredding facilities. Alternatively it operates mobile shredding trucks that can offer on-site shredding facilities. All material is recycled back into the paper chain which helps to assist many businesses in their commitment to environmental policies and obligations.
The company is a principal member of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and has incorporated its code of practice together with the European Standard BS EN 15713 into its ISO9001:2008 quality management system and its ISO14001:2004 environmental management system for its paper shredding and recycling operations.
