TSA categorises its shedding services to define your service program by type and schedule.
Service Type
On-site shredding: the shredding service takes place at the customer’s location using high throughput mobile shredding trucks. Certificates confirming document destruction are issued immediately following the shred.
Off-site shredding: TSA collects documents from the customer location and securely transports them to a high security industrial shredding facility. Your information is shredded and baled within 24 hours of its arrival and a certificate of destruction is emailed as soon as the shred has been completed.
High security shredding: as above your information is transported to a high security industrial shredding unit and within 24 hours of arrival it is reduced to dust. A certificate of destruction is subsequently emailed to you.
Service Schedule
Automatic service – the standard shredding service provides appropriately locked and secure containers where you store the information until TSA customer service operators collect it at pre-agreed intervals.
Purge – TSA destroys your information in a single scheduled visit.
